Episode 21: The Lie I'm Finally Unlearning at 48
You will never build a life that feels good while some part of you believes you have to earn the right to have it.
This is a solo episode, and it's the one I needed to record for myself as much as for anyone listening.
The longer I do this work, the more convinced I am that worth is the real lever. Not the meal plan. Not the supplement stack. Whatever you want in your life, health, wealth, joy, connection, worth is where the actual shift happens.
For me it showed up first in health and wellness. I'd look at other women and feel like I hadn't earned the right to look like them or live like them yet. And underneath every excuse about time or money was a quieter belief: I wasn't worthy of getting it.
I talk about the wellness industry's endless parade of the next fix, the program after the supplement after the magic solution, and about the moment a client tells me what her doctor said and I want to flip the table. It's too late. That's just part of getting older. That's not solvable. I don't believe that, and I don't want you to either.
At 48, I'm doing more of my own worth work than I have in years. I talk mantras. I talk about my Chiron wound and where it came from. And I talk about Human Design and Gene Keys, the two tools that have taught me more about my own patterns than anything else I've tried.
In this episode: why self-worth is the real lever behind every other goal, the wellness industry's next fix cycle, when doctors dismiss what your body is telling you, Annie's Chiron wound and worth story, mantras for rebuilding self-worth, Human Design and Gene Keys as self-knowledge tools.
